Now, I'm Really Relying On You Guys......

yes parrots are not natural fish at all, they are a man made hybrid in the first place so even the 'natural' (un-dyed) ones are not 'natural', it of course depends on your perception weather hybrids are acceptable or not, that's for each person to take their own moral stanbdpoint, certainly not as clear cut an issue as dying.

speaking personally I've had a parrot fish before and I really loved her, she had bags of personality and was cute as anything, they come highly recommended from me.

Yes Tonight is a Friday ( here in SA, & i've bin to Thaba Nkwe, so I can add a few more pics of the venue where I intend to install this tank..... What is your take???

I have this very good friend that owns an international lodge, where I visit every Friday night.....

He has now left it in my "capable" hands.... To install a fishtank in the bar area for him....

I made him a presentation tonight (amounting to R7000) (keeping it conservative) and his response was.... "F".... this, "You do what you have to do".... I want a tank in here.

You people are knowledgable, and I am totally relying on your response to base my ultimate decision on... What would you suggest I get this guy as centre piece display.... (money no object)....

I have to maintain, so Saltwater marines are out of the question. (R7000 is equivalent to approx 490 Pounds or 1080$)..... What can I get the guy??

Anyhows!!.... I'm not gonna waste any more energy, but my ultimate plan is to use this little platform for the display...... No background, so's it could be seen from the bar area as well as from the dining area,.... and the little platform will contain an approximate 5ft tank & stand (at the base.... So.... That is what I'm catering for, and, methinks ...... a few large fish... (including 1 pair Oscars) So!!..... What will the rest be???

maybe some clown loaches?they get pretty big and are quite active.i don't know if they get along with oscars' or not though.
