Approx 3" gravel, Bushy plastic plants and a number of big rock collected from streams on the "lodge" streams, with "grolux" lighting, Air curtain background. Fish currently reserved to the 2 big Oscars and a Pleco, until I get more ideas......

Looking good, do you have any extra filtration under that or you gonna use power filterer's.
Got a good size though will be able to do a lot with it.

Yea... The filters will be 2 x inside power filters "blowing" inwards from either side and one cannister outside "eheim" or something to that effect. The airpump will be driving the (full length) air curtain exclusively.

Ehiem Pro 3 will run that fine, then if u need a U.V. or anything it will be easy to add one to the system.

The air pump as u know is not needed and will only be used for ascetic appeal, but watch them as with a little algae they stop working, and dont look good to expect to clean if often or just replace it.

Heating is also an unknown, I'm considering 2 x 300w at either end.... not sure??

If they have the money get a ehiem with a built in heater, or an inline heater, will not have any wires on display then

these heaters work great. and they hook up to filter intakes to circulate the heated water better. i have one 300w on my 180g tank.

Ok!!... so I'm going for one of these, and if it does not work...... At least, I've got you to blame!

To date, I've only bin working on this project on Fridays....... Tonight, I did not have my camera with me to show the progress, but I'm extremely impressed.

We raised the tank to Eye Level, Made a canopy for it, added the gravel and water..... Tomorrow, (on the holy Saturday), I'll be there very early to install the lighting, (at least one filter), the heaters, and some volcanic rocks.

I'll also put in some 10 odd guppies, before the intro of the 2 x Oscars, 1 x Pleco, and 2 x large Convicts next Friday..... (Obviously, the Guppies will be an intro dinner).... The week after that I'll take the long road to Pretoria and "Petshop crawl" for the remainder of the fish and the additional filtration intended.... WATCH THIS SPOT.

Will still appreciate suggestions as to what the remainder of the stocking should be....... The tank is 1040L.

Right!!!!... This is where we are at currently...... This first one, Shows Annie Christian - Aussie girl (the Manageress of the Game lodge)... Just to get perspective on the size of the tank.

The Canopy will still be layered with grass

Currently no decor inside of the tank

The damn pump I got was more for a Pond than an aquarium.... I'll have to get another filter system.

Looking good, matches the surrounding which is the important thing.
