Hmm, I have a blue shovel that may soon be haloed in blue air as I dig out knee to hip deep drifts. The winds are still violent, and it's hard to tell if snow is falling intermittently or coming back up off the ground. It's cold enough that there is a lot of wet powder.

That was one of the wildest blizzards I've seen in many years. Here, it was luckily only about 16 hours, and for 12 of those, visibility bordered on zero. But we didn't lose power and the winds that sounded like a freight train didn't wake us up too often.

I hope everyone south of here didn't lose power, and that all is well considering.
