Interested in this thread cos I have the same problem. Some peoples camera phones are better than mine

hi,

what i do is turn off all the lights in the room fisrt except the aquairums and turn my flash off. the next step is to have the camera on something so it is not moving at all. if it moves even slightly the pic can come out blury. after that all u need to do is wait for a good shot. :)
tell me if this helps

eric

what's a david bailey camera?
which thread did you read?

ive found that gettin the camera fone in focus 1st, then getting the betta's attention, so it stops to have a looksie

always works for me

good luck :)

i have a 10mp, and mine are still carp lol,by the time the pic is taken the fish is on the other side of the tank peeing his-self laughing cos i missed! :)

doesnt matter what Mp it is because at the end of the day the higher mp the slower capture speed and larger images.

you basically need to turn all lights of in the room and on your camera with just the tank lights on, then put you camera into macro mode (the little flower mode), and then take pictures i take so many and pick out the best one!

Good luck

It takes a lot of standing infront of the tank and waiting till the fish are in position some are better than others. these were done with a cheap cannon powershot on macro with no flash

most of the stuff on that thread usually doesn't make a difference anyway. i mean, i've read through it thousands of times and used every single technique it describes.
truth is, everyones cameras are different... unless they have the same camera :shifty: show us some of your pictures and i'm sure i could give you some advice :good:

Yeah, get some pics up and i'll give constructive criticism and advice, but without one it's hard to tell what you're doing wrong!
