L.sessiliflora can be temperamental at times. I achieved a wall of it in my old tank without burying it. Having them placed on the substrate surface with weights is the best way to grow them imo. Then the roots can find their way through the substrate if you let them.

I see! I was told they were easy... But this is the fun part of entering the hobby, learning hehehe
I ordered some aquarium weights, I'll try that! If the two floating ones die I'll buy some invitro if I find them (I don't want more pests and I'm a bit scared of cleaning them with chemicals ngl, but if I have to I will)

Today I'll get the plant weights and try to put the sessiliflora in its place
I'll also do a 10% water change, mostly bc I want to clean the bottom a bit with my syphon. I also read that snails eat the poop and put the nutrients in the water column? IDK
I heard people with shrimps don't do many water changes, I only have amanos but plan on getting neos next month so any advice is appreciated!

My nerite snails don't eat poop, but they do poop themselves. You should see the amount of snail poop that accumulates under the wood in my tanks, almost as if they are eating the surface of the wood along with what they scrape off the wood.

You will read that water changes are bad for shrimps. However I've never had any issues doing 50% weekly water changes on tanks with Neocaridina shrimps and I've had neos since 2013. They also poop a lot, it appears like magic within hours of cleaning the tank.

I thought Clithon corona (Horned Nerite Snails) were detritivores and scavengers?
Maybe a 10-20% biweekly change is good? I have a densly planted and low bioload tank so maybe?

Clithon corona are algae and diatom eating snails, in common with just about all types of nerite. I suspect they also eat the biofilm that builds up on every surface in a tank as well as certain types of algae.
I have a Clithon snail in my shrimp tank and I can see marks left on the glass where it's been crawling around and scraping 'stuff' off the glass. If you ever see any of yours on the tank walls you'll be able to see the rasping mouth they use to scrape surfaces.

Just to add - any detritivore will also poop so the fish poop will end up as more poop once it's been through the detritivore.

ANOTHER TWO BORARAS MERAH WHERE IN THE FILTER?!?!?!?!?!? HOW???
I have completely covered the intake in filter sponge ( I can't even put a toothpick through any of the sides or bottom) and I put a fine nylon mesh bag on the outflow, they where on the upper part but idk HOW? No hole son the nylon mesh bag either
I put a pantyhose stocking on the bottom completely and it takes a good chunk of the outflow too, I'll have to clean it more often but I hope no more boraras get stuck...
Thankfully when I took the sponge out and the water drained they jumped around so thankfully still alive but I'm just so pissed off, how

what's the best filter for really small fry? For a 105L/27G so not a clunking huge thing hahaha
should I get a Small sponge filter??? Do y'all have any recommendations?

there's a nylon bag all around the top section and it's tucked under the sponges too... If they can they must be mages, I have no clue

IDK if you can see much with the glare LOL

I'm thinking about buying another filter

maybe this? I hope it's not too big for 105L

My last resort would be to try to give them to my LFS and get some bigger fish like ember tetras? But the fry would still be a proble then, I'm so frustrated...

How do I do it then? Should I keep both filters plugged in so beneficial bacteria settle in the new one?
And wym by the tank covered? (It had a lid) but why is it relevant now? just asking

Tank covered in case jumping is part of the issue w fish in your filter.
For a while…yes keep the other filters going.
