Lots of new snow in the Beartooth , Pryor and Bighorn Mountains of Montana and Wyoming . Lots of rain too . Very warm weather early in the week and that has started the spring runoff into the Yellowstone River and other area streams , creeks and rivers . The Yellowstone is high and muddy today and my water is coming out of the tap at 72 PPM TDS . How’s that for snowmelt diluting things ? It will go even lower in the coming weeks . Hey @jaylach how’s that creek that Dan’s Fish uses looking ?

Ahhh... It's looking wet? ;) The water is high but not yet near flooding. We haven't had the waterway do a decent flood in several years and I wish it would as it helps the wetlands a bit behind the creek.

Well it's late autumn in Perth (Western Australia) and I am wearing shorts and a t-shirt. The temperature is in the mid to high 20s C (high 70s to low 80s F). Last week we had 32C (90F) temperatures. I think it has rained twice this year and only a few millimeters each time. The soil is dry and the plants need to be watered, which is not normal for this time of year (2 weeks from winter). There are grasshoppers, ants, flies and mosquitoes everywhere when they shouldn't be around at this time of year. There are no frogs out and about at night making noises and this is when they should be breeding. About the only positive to the warmer weather is my car battery doesn't go flat due to the cold. And I don't need heating or air-conditioning now.

Here in Italy we have had a warm winter with occasional heavy rains that have caused damage.
Now during the day it is warm around 27-28 degrees but still cool at night.
Everything is in bloom, everything is very green and there are already many animals around.
I love spring

Here in the UK we haven't had proper rain for a few weeks. The water companies are complaining about low levels in reservoirs so hosepipe bans will be starting soon in most areas - except where I live. Since we moved here 34 years ago we've never had a hosepipe ban.

I lived in Cardiff in 1976, the year of the drought. Different areas did things differently; in Cardiff the water supply was turned off between 1 pm and 6 am so just 7 hours of running water a day when most people were at work. Bucket manufacturers made a huge profit that summer.

In my region we are on our seventh day of rain and clouds. Quite dismal.

It's so nice out I think I'll leave it out.

I’m going to take a wild guess and say hosepipe is an English term for garden hose so no outside watering of lawns and gardens .
You got it 👍

And no washing cars or anything else which involves lots of water coming out of a long thin tube.
Using a watering can is allowed though.

(Just in case 'watering can' is a UK term, this is one)

Interesting container. We have watering plastic cans :)
Not quite, we have watering cans but they are made of plastic so the watering can name needs to change.
