wind has died down, now I need to figure out how to fix this... probably 1000 acres of corn SW of me, they chopped the stalks ( basically mow them, into smaller pieces, before they replant, to make they break down faster ) they all blew into my pasture fence, and are deep enough, they are going to kill my pasture grass... If I move the sheep there, they will eat some initially, but not enough to save the grass??? this is an 18 foot wide strip, between our field, and my driveway, and with 2 fence strips in 18 feet, there is very little grass left exposed in that strip

Monday the temperature was 96. Yesterday the temperature broke a record at 101 degrees. Today is cooler at 93

Sigh, weather is still weird in Sheridan WY. One day there is a high of fifty and the next day a high of 85 and the next day back to 50...

Similar terrain. I'm in the armpit of the free world, West Virginia.

It’s hotter than a two dollar pistol here in dry , no humidity southeastern Montana .

Weather ? It’s a changing Brothers ! Last Sunday we dropped twenty degrees from the previous day and got over an inch of rain . @jaylach is the big winner in that department . He’s about two hours south of me and it’s been raining there like cats and dogs according to my local TV weatherman . Fall is definitely here and they’re calling for 50’s and nights in the 30’s next week . I plugged the aquarium heaters back in today because I expect the house to start cooling down . Speaking of those , I also put my new Fluval heater in service in my Endler’s aquarium . I will never get used to that blue pilot light it has . It weirds me out .
