cooler weather and comfortable dew points for several days… tanks in my room with no air conditioner, finally starting to come down

16c with fog blowing in - the graveyard across the road looks like Goths on horses should appear at any moment. Time to put some eerie music on...

We’re coming up on another hot streak but only in the low 100’s Fahrenheit . I’m still not going to complain because this doesn’t last . I will , however , take advantage of it by shampooing the carpet today . The warm weather with the windows open drys the carpet quickly .

The weatherman is calling for it to be in the 100’s Fahrenheit all week long this week . My brine shrimp hatch almost immediately it seems and my wingless fruit flies multiply very quickly . The heaters are all unplugged and the two that aren’t never come on that I can see . There are advantages to hot weather . We’re right in midsummer now with the warmest days yet to come and soon fall will be upon us . I like it like this and am using it to my advantage .
