Red Sox do it again. They beat the division leading White Sox by a score of 4 to 0. This is their seventh win in a row.
The Yankees are losing 3 to 0 in the sixth inning against the Cardinals. If the Yankees lose today, the Sox will be just one game behind the second place Yankees.

And another unreal debut by a Cleveland rookie. 7th inning and Angel Genoa gets the go-ahead RBI. More unreal is that he has gone 4-4 in the game which has never been done in Cleveland history by a rookie debut.

In the end another Cleveland rookie has a record start! Actually this is the second rookie record for a Cleveland rookie this year. If I recall the numbers right (I'm pretty sure.) Chase DeLauter had 4 homers in his first 5 games; possibly 5 homers in his first 4 games but not going to bother looking.

And Cleveland figures another way to lose.

7 wins for the Braves as well, in a row! Also, the Braves just passed the Dodgers (yeah, the Dodgers!), in overall standings. Only the Brewers have a better record. Bryce Elder goes 7 innings, strong. Another just amazingly strong start for the Braves starters. Mid lineup is producing, as well as every other spot in the lineup. Only team for now I see being trouble for the Braves is the league leading Brewers.

Red Sox are tied with the White Sox in the bottom of the 11th inning. Sox have bases loaded with 2 outs at the moment. What an exciting game. Just amazing.

And I have to thank Boston as they kept Cleveland just 3 games back which is good as Cleveland in in their biggest slump of the year losing something like 11 out of the last 13.

Braves have won 8 in a row. Two consecitue series sweeps. Beat up Miami yesterday. 11-3. Acuna went yard 2 times. Watch his first homer, it hit TWO gloves in front of the wall before it bounced over!! You will not see a weirder homer this season lol.
The Braves are about to take the top spot in all of baseball. Everything is clicking

Big weekend series. Cleveland at White Sox. If Cleveland can sweep the Sox, unlikely, they will, again, be tied for 1st.

How funny! After the 1st Cleveland is up 2-0 but the Sox starter is already out of the game. The Sox coaching messed it up. They sent a coach to the mound twice in the inning which automatically, by rule, means the pitcher has to be removed.

Looking good for a start of this series. In the 5th it is 7-1 in favor of Cleveland. Unless the Cleveland bull pen blows it bad the game is over. Of course anything can happen but the Cleveland bull pen just does not give up this many runs in the second half of a game.

And it is now 8-1 after a Kwan solo homer in the 6th.

The Red Sox continue to amaze fans. The Sox whooped the Athletics tonight...13 to 1. Streak is now NINE! Looking forward to tomorrow afternoon's game.
