MLB 2026

I do not think the Braves do this. THAT IS AWESOME though! I need to look into it.
I just looked on the Braves' site under specialty packages and didn't see it listed. :(

Do the Braves do a 50/50 raffle monthly during the season where 50% goes to the winner and 50% goes to charities?

I signed up for streaming via a regional sports network. They charge $30 a month or $180 a year. With just two months left in the season before playoffs, I chose the monthly plan.
It's now the bottom of the 7th...Baltimore leads 5 to 1.
Sure beats paying for cable tv. I haven't had cable for about 12 years. I figure I saved about $25,000. I rarely even pay for streaming services....maybe I sign up for one every third month for maybe $8. I use mainly antenna tv and free streaming via Roku tv, Tubi, Pluto, or other free services.

You would pay less going through mlb.tv in the future. They charge $149.99/year for all teams and I think it was $99.99/year when I renewed this year for just one team which is what I do.

I dont' think MLB will give you access to a local team...only teams outside your home area.
I subscribe via NESN (New England Sports Network)

I am glad since I live right under ATL I can stream through Spectrum. Saves money. BUT, I would love to have the full MLB plan to watch other teams, like the Cubs, Rangers, A's and other teams I like to watch.

I THINK that you may be correct but I THINK that may only apply if there is a local broadcast where you could see the game anyway. Since I live in Wyoming I don't see this aspect in relation to Cleveland.

Still may be worth looking at for next year. LOL! You could always use a VPN to change your on-line location.

And YEA! Jose Ramirez was back on the field at third for Cleveland after 30 days on the IL. Nothing super special but hit a single and scored as to his first at bat. I believe he also stole another base. Kind of impressive that they went 30 games without with Angel Martinez, Kwan and Jose and are still in the thick of things at the top of the division. Actually it was just Jose out for the full 30 days but the others have also been missed.

I usually don't watch much baseball unless the home team is doing very well and even then I only would want to watch it toward the end of the season. This game was a must watch game with a potential of breaking the franchise record of longest win streak.

Ahh, that DOES make a difference. To be honest I often think about quitting mlb.tv as I pay more attention to the audio than the video. To me a lot of the video is just candy for the eye.

I just do the radio broadcast for my Browns as it is totally a free stream. While listening to the broadcast I also watch NFL Red Zone muted.

How does a game go into the 8th inning, tied 1-1. Then the final score is Braves 7, Padres, 6? Unreal. Braves score 6 in outburst in the 8th... then the Padres make it a nail biter in the ninth by scoring 5. Braves still win though!! Last game today in the series, Braves lead 2-1. Padres been a pain to the Braves in the last 12 games. Braves are 3-9 in the last 12. Ouch!

Braves take 3-4 games from San Diego. Another great win today powered by 4 homers.

Braves have scored the most runs in MLB this month. When the Braves are on, there is no doubt World Series is always in play. Since 2021, especially, this team is well known for always being top 5 in MLB. They are just showing this year they may deserve a number 2 or 3 spot (nobody can touch Dodgers, until postseason play and that is when the magic happens, like in 21 when the Braves beat them in the NLCS)

So nice to have Jose Ramirez back along with Angel Martinez!

Take the first game of a double header in Cinci where Cleveland won 6-5. The winning run came from a Jose single after which he stole second and third then scored on a sac fly. Even after thirty days on the IL Jose is still top five in the league for stolen bases. There are many great players in the MLB but Jose is special. He just seems to bring a very high level of energy to the team. Beyond doubt he should be first ballot hall of fame.

Then there is Kwan. I griped all season long about them playing him in center field when he has won a gold glove all four seasons he's played in left; even as a rookie. Everyone was wondering why his hitting was off the first half of the season. DUH! They took him out of his comfort zone on defense which affected him at the plate. Since he is back to playing left on a regular basis he is tearing up the league at the plate. I don't claim to know more than the pros but what has happened with Kwan this season gives credence to my opinion. Since back in center he has gone from batting eight or nine to back at lead off where he belongs.

And Cleveland wins the last game of the year's Cinci series 6-1 to, once again, take the Ohio Cup.

If not known, the Ohio Cup is a trophy that is between Cleveland and Cinci to where the team that wins the season series gets the cup for a year. Since Cleveland is AL and Cinci, NL, there isn't direct competition but it is just a fun thing between two teams in the same state.

And then there is Cade Smith, Cleveland's current closer. Had to come in as the closer after Clase blew it due to gambling. Smith now leads the league in saves. It is almost surrealistic how they lose someone and just keep on going...

Friday night, the Red Sox beat the League leading Dodgers 9 to 4. Sox had 12 hits. Another game with the Dodgers Saturday night and also Sunday night. Baseball is getting interesting for the rallying Sox.

The Red Sox have the lowest Runs Against total of any team in either league right now. Are you starting to believe in them now!
