MLB 2026

And, once again, Cleveland puts Kwan back in center field. Makes no sense to me. :dunno: Also they keep batting Jose second when he is a natural at the third spot. They have put Jose at the second spot before and in every case his production has dropped in that spot.

Cleveland is reputed as having some of the best management in the game but the keep doing stuff that just makes no sense to me.

Braves 20 games over. All the sudden 8 games over the Phillies, (who hit a HUGE speed bump). Braves are comfortably in the playoffs.

Martin Perez pitched 7 innings, 75 pitches, 1 hit (which he gave up in the 7th), 2 walks, 6 ks. Reynaldo Lopez was also scratched from starting tonight's game, 45 mins ahead of time, with knee inflammation. Then Perez on short rest pitches a gem.

Braves about to beat the Nats, -3. Acuna is back, 2 dingers, in the last 3 days.

Everything is on cruise control in ATL. (Look out Dodgers!!)

and the Sox just beat the Dodgers in the second game of the series, score was 3 to 2. Will the Sox sweep the Dodgers with a win on Sunday...stay tuned!

To beat the Dodgers, in a regular series game like this, AL and NL, is pretty special stuff.

Breaking news, Braves acquire Lane Thomas (LF), and Brady Faulter (RP) from KC. I am fine with it. Need a SP tho.

And the biggest news, Tarik Skubal to the Dodgers, can LA get any more OP???

Cleveland/Arizona are in a rain delay in the top of the 6th with Cleveland up 5-0 and Arizona at bat.

Looking at the Cleveland radar I'm sure they will end up finishing the game but it tweaks my curiosity. Of course, with being in the 6th inning, it would be considered a complete game if totally rained out. But does it matter that the visiting team is at the plate? Would it be a complete game as it stands at the time? Do they revert to the last complete inning which would, in this case, be the 5th which would still qualify as a complete game? Or would it become a postponed game to be finished at a later date?

What makes me curios on this is that Arizona did about everything they could to hinder the ground crew in putting out the tarp by congregating between the mound and the plate. Granted in that Cleveland also joined the crowd but it seemed they were more like get Arizona out of the way.

Red Sox just swept the series against the Dodgers by winning today 8-4. Sox are just 5 games behind the division leading Tampa Bay Rays. The Sox won the last 4 games in a row.

I think so, esp with 5 innings being played. Even with the visiting team up to bat, in rules, 5 innings = complete game. OR if home team is leading, 4.5 innings.

I would say the Sox and Braves (yeah that is gunna sound super duper bias but just take a gander at the stats, lol) are playing the best baseball since the All star break. But Sox for sure are playing the best baseball out of all teams right now, since that 15 game W streak.

The Red Sox play the White Sox starting tomorrow. The White Sox are in first place in their division. This will be another test to see if the Sox can trounce yet another division leading team. I'm glad I subscribed to a month of NESN regional sports channel so I can watch the Sox as they continue to amaze the local fans.

And for once I'll be pulling for Boston in that series. As much as it pains me to say this, GO BOSTON! :)

Red Sox are leading the White Sox 6 to 0 in the bottom of the 3rd. Are you starting to believe!

The Red Sox now lead 13 to 2 in the bottom of the 6th.
As well as the Red Sox are playing, I believe they have a shot to overtake the Rays at some point and make it into 1st place. The odds say that at the moment and with the present record of the Sox, they have an 85% change of making it into the playoffs.
