Thanks, will bare that in mind :good:

Tank is going to be delivered TOMORROW!!! Whoop! Haven't been sitting waiting, twiddling my thumbs either, as had the baby to keep me occupied, so just realised tomorrow is the day and got all excited haha. Plenty of pics tomorrow or the day after :good:

I love bichirs and really want to get one. I am assuming the armored buchir is P. Delhezi how do u think it would fo with my discus? I keep my tank temp at 83oF and the other tank params check out for both. I'm worried about it going after the discus but they are larger 4-5 inches ATM do u think it would be ok to add one?

OK, so, photos :hyper:

Glass is dirty from the plastic protective wrapping.

Added some plants in now, more photos uploading.

The Nic and Firemouth have been rehomed as I was sick to death of them chasing each other, and nearly every other bl%dy fish in the tank. I thought the new tank would help, but if anything, the Nic got worse. So she's gone. Such a shame as never seen another Nic so stunning in colour, but she'd had chance after chance.

I have a little Sajica growing on a bit in my 50g to go in here. He should be ready in a month or so, the rate he eats

All the fish are happy, but Boris is still sulking from moving house

Ignore the airline, I am maturing a filter sponge for my shrimp tank.

Oh wow Chilli, a very pleasant surprise to come online today and see these uploaded. Absolutely love it, simply beautifull. The Redheads are just magnificent. I really, really, really want a 6x2x2 to have a group of them in alongside my Jack. Can't wait to see how this progresses over time.

Thanks James :good:

I really want to up my numbers of Geos, but they are so hard to come by around here. I want a group of about 5 really. They are lovely fish, stunning when mature.

Here's a video of the tank today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL9zKw_LqkY&feature=channel_video_title

oh my word. wish i had a place big enough, i'd have one tomorrow :) very nice mate, looks brilliant.

Thanks both of you for your lovely comments :) seems none of the other viewers can be bothered to comment.

Alot of views will be from things like google searches when they stumble upon your thread, atleast i'm sure of that.

There are two people who are/will be selling Geo Redhead Tapajo's on here currently. 'Bonzo' is based in Ireland and is selling some 1" 'redhead' fry. Currently looking into shipping i believe as i've enquired. And 'blue acara' will (hopefully) be selling some in a couple of months time. So there are options Chilli ;)

I'd lvoe to see some more Geos in there, certainly are rapidly becomming one of my favourite fish. The entire Geo and GymnoGeo species!

Tank looks lovely, especially with a bit of greenery in there now. Is there any aggression between the oscar/sevs/syn ?

That sand must be a nightmare to keep looking clean(ish) !!

Yeah I'm in contact with Bonzo, but she doesn't know yet whether she's able to ship them. Otherwise I'd be interested in Blue Acara's. Really want to get a group in there. So will probably buy 3 more and hope they get on with my current two. They don't get on especially well, but think that's because there is only two of them.

Thanks, I think it looks better with the greenery in there too.

No aggression at all! They get on very well. At first, in the old tank, there was a bit of chasing from Bo and Mister O to Mister Sparkles, but within 2 days they settled right down and are best buddies. Fish are weird

The sand hasn't caused a problem yet, and the fish all seem to much prefer it to gravel. Except for Boris, who is still in a sulk from moving

Can I ask what mister sparkles is? Sorry for sounding like a newbie.

You're so lucky to have a tank like this!!!
