89 posts in one day, something not normal here.

:byebye:
He's asking tons of questions everywhere... in all the forums... I think it's great. More than I did when I started keeping fish. Better he's asking here than believing nonsence that the fish store will tell him.
sorry canoechick, but i believe you should read through his posts before you judge his motives.....he is not "just asking questions"

OK guys its over now lets stop arguin over nothing,i just get wound up sometimes thats all!!!!!!!especially with ignorant people!dont start argun with eachouther or thw forum will fall apart.if ppl dont want to listen to advice then its there problem when everythng goes wrong

Thats exactly whats goin on hes not listening to our answers and people are getting mad hes asking all thwese questions and not listening...I mean he has a crayfish in a 1 gallon...

Once I know someone won't listen to any answers, i've decided to just walk away and not answer anything of theirs, atleast for a while. But i'm sure we will be seeing this guy in the emergency section in two days....

Since he isn't listening, hopefully after a disaster or two, he will finally wise up. I know many of us had disasterous first experiences.

first you need to do a fishless cycle in it before you put any fish in it so the good bacteria which breaks down fish waste can grow in the filter and cope with the fish's waste load, otherwise the fish poo which creates ammonia will just build up and kill them.
Thats not 100% true. I know loads of people who have done cycles with fish sucessfuly. I did all my tanks on it.

Its really just a matter of taste, and time. Its different for everybody.

Sorry if this was alittle off topic, I just hate people saying fishless cycle is the only way to go, and if you do it another way, you will fail. When people ask me, I always suggest to them the cycle with fish first. I think itrs more exciting for begguiners, becauswe they dont have empty tanks just sitting there filled with water. They might lose intrest before they actully get fish.

Just my 2 cents.

everyone just stop posting
he is a waste of time
egnor him he ill get board and go away

I'm confuzzled.
The last post I read from this william guy was to pull you head out of your......erm....bottom.
Whats going on?
I dont wanna read the whole thread because I have a feeling its mostly just telling other people off.

I agree you can do cycling with fish successfully but i tend to advise fishless cycling as it does not put any fish's health at risk because there are no fish and you can cycle the tank faster, which is what many newb's want to do  .

I only cycle with fish, but some people (very new especially) don't understand why you can put a few fish in, and not all of them. I was just trying to give the easiest answer, that wouldnt confuse him.
