What is this on my new betta?

1 day after purchasing this betta I noticed a white thing hanging off her. It’s been 2 days and it’s not going anywhere. It’s very close to her anus (right next to I think)and she is able to poop, which is a light brown color. I watched her and the feces came out just fine but didn’t phase the white thing.

Any idea what this is? Internal parasite polking out? Anchor worm?

I got her, a 2 new live plants, and a Nerite snail the same day. Added all to a cycled, filtered, heated 2.5 gal. Water parameters are fine and I have been doing 25% changes daily since noticing and added Aquarium salt for good measure. She will be transferred to a larger tank once healthy and it’sdone cycling. I have no idea what to treat for!!

I'm guessing it's her ovipositor (egg laying tube). Female Bettas have a white ovipositor and males have a dark one.

It won’t go away. It’s a part of her anatomy.
