your all saying how nice she was but how do you know if everything she was purporting to be was a lie not a good start to having a friendship is it

She has admitted to me she lied, she has also explained why she did it. Whether or not it's a good enough reason for everyone here is up to BigC to let me C&P her reasons here. Whilst I personally don't agree with lying for whatever reason and wouldn't have done things the way she did them, not everybody does things the same way and everyone is guilty of lying in some way at some point. It doesn't make her a freak, it just makes her a bit of an emotional wreck lately.

in my experience of online forums, you always get some people who like to 'exaggerate' thei lives to make them seem like better people than they think they are. they feel they are boring or lacking in something so make up 'identities' to win friends. its sad but true. and almost 99% of the time they get caught out after a while.

the best thing is, if she comes back, just take what she says with a pinch of salt. im sure shes not a bad person, maybe just very lonely.

Yes you could be right, just thought it might be nice for people to decide that for themselves

I don't get why people would be bothered? It's the internet... words on your screen.


So she made up a few stories.. maybe she was bored. I'm sure a lot of you have added to stories of things that have happened to you.

I've placed the matter in the hands of the Mods and we shall see where it goes from there.
Personally I feel that no one needs to pretend who they are and lie for the sake of being egotistical, we are all here for the common good and to help others as well a recieve help ourselves. No one on here is any better than the next person. Emma also broke some site rules which didn't help.
Mel I have read the PM you sent me regarding the above and Emma seems to have learnt a valuable lesson and I will await what others have to say on the matter. Get back to you.
