Don't you feel much better after thoroughly cleaning your place. And it's a healthier environment. And if you invite any guests into your place, you can be at ease that they won't point out how dirty the place is.
I have an electric stove that is 50 years old and has never stopped working. It has a smooth hard cook top (ceramic maybe) and is easy to clean. No burners or drip pans to clean. I know people that have electric stoves less that 10 years old that required major repairs.
I also have a man cave refrigerator in the garage that was made in early 1950s and it has never stopped working. My last kitchen fridge gave up the ghost at only 10 years old.
My kitchenaid dishwasher is also 50 years old and has never given any trouble.
They just don't make things like the old days.
