What are you doing today?

Are you sure this is piscine mycobacteriosis? Why is there a long-term vitamin deficiency? What could be done? I see more symptoms of an aging fish than a sick fish, but I may be wrong.

Today is supposed to touch 80F without :band: any rain.

The pond will get a thorough flush with more cleaning. Of course, this great day is a one of for a bit. Rain and lower temps to follow.

The pond fishes are becoming more active and although the water temp is still below what are normal feeding temps we fed them a bit of vegetables yesterday. They actively ate. We will do so again today prior to flushing.

I plan on wearing shorts and sandals for the first time this year as I grill a fine dinner of something for dinner. Will cook extra as we will have company. I do not know who, but I know someone with cabin fever will stop by. That is the norm on a summer weekend. Our open-door policy seems to always have someone at the threshold when weather is warm. I think it is more a result of my homemade liquids than my personality.

Does his spine looks like a "S" from top view ? Old age shows with a drooping back and humph behind the head.

Today after finally switching to summer tires, hope it's over now. I been driving a week with them in the back...

I'm completing the setup of my new laptop, when trough all options, audited every services and cleaned up the absolutely outrageous Task Scheduler that comes out-the-box. Brought it to a Clean Windows Experience.

Now, this is starting to move stuff at my pace. While my old crap runs very well and at an excellent speed... Is limited to W7. It has very poor "outside" communication capabilities, Network, WiFi and USBitch. Only one port left working, one screen hinge broken and a completely messed up keyboard.

I now see my WiFi network at gig speed... I ordered new USB enclosure for my ssd data drive and will be able to access it at 6gig sec, in SSUsb, instead of 480meg sec, just cant wait for that.

Very happy... Except the normal Windows blunder. All software migrated like kings.

And I'm surely going to become really fond of the silence the completely passive cooling system brings. The only remaining moving parts are the buttons on the keyboard. It's amazing.

Good deal, have fun. :)

Tore down the Badgerling's severely neglected Apistos tank today. It only has one baby Apisto left in it, which will go into my big Negro/Orinoco tank at the dentist's office. Doesn't exactly fit the biotope but it should be a lot happier in there. Badgerling feels bad about the neglect; she has simply been too busy to care for the tank properly. So she relinquished it and asked me to take it over.

I am thinking hard about making some floating veggie platforms, planting tomatoes, peppers, herbs, and dwarf cucumbers, and turning the thing into an Inle biotope. I've always wanted to try that...

Similar weather here in the Northeast USA. And just like you, i will be grilling up a fine meal. What’s on the menu, you ask? A 2 inch thick filet mignon with a nice salad and a big Idaho baked potato. Life is good!

Today I participated in our local Easter parade! The only one in Washington state. My float was covered in the names of rare diseases. We won 3rd place in the float judging. I also made it on Fox News 👀

Very nice! You’re really making a name for yourself. You’re becoming famous.
How the heck were you able to get up on the roof with your aches and pains.
Very carefully through the sunroof 🙃

For a second there I thought the girl in the first pic was flipping off the camera.

Is that lettering done with a permanent marker? Is it removable or do they plan on leaving it on the car?
