Tank No. 4

I'm hoping to get either a rio 180 or 240 soon (parents don't know about this yet...)
My first  priority will be to move my firemouth and senegal bichir to the new tank.
After that i'm hoping to add a fairly large CA cichlid (8-10 inches). Fish such as JDS, green terrors, texas cichlids and nicaraguan cichlids particularly catch my eye.
My questions are: 
1: What CA cichlid (if any) would be appropriate for the new tank 
2: How do i convince mother that theres room for a third tank in the living room (i already have 1 in my room...)

I would just buy the tank and move it in when she is not home.  Plan a day when they are all gone, maybe on the weekend.  Get a friend to help you move it in.  Have all the supplies and decor and everything ready to go.  When they walk in they will not even notice.  they will feel as if the tank has always been there.  If they say what is this!!!  It will be to late because its already set up plus they will think its hella cool!

Another idea is to film the hole procces and post it up on you tube and get your parents reaction!

Ha ha, great idea but unless i rob them i'm not going to be able to afford one. Not to mention i would have to carry a 4ft tank + cabinet across town which might be tricky...
I get my results from my exams soon so maybe if i get really good results i can use that as leverage.. hmm?
Anyway what about stocking? any interesting cichlids i could put in? are any of the ones i mentioned unsuitable?
I'm thinking maybe:
-My bichir
-My firemouth
-1 Sajica
-1 female Nicaraguan cichlid
What do you think?
The dimensions will be either 100 x 40 x 50cm or 120 x 40 x 55 depending on which model i get...

What are the size of your tanks?
 
Depending on the size of your house i doubt your parents would be over-keen on a fourth if they aren't too keen on fish, but good luck anyway!

I have two 15 gallons and a 30 gallon. I'd rather talk about stocking the tank than how to manipulate my parents into getting it. The more I think about it, the more unlikely it seems
