Hi, I have an algae problem in my tank and was wandering what fish will eat the string/hair algae and is compatible with discus? I have a SAE but it doesn't look like he's eating any algae.  I have done many water changes but the algae always comes back, I am also limiting my lights to be on for only 6 hours.

Pics of algaes?

Are these planted tanks?

String/hair algae is usually down to poor co2 and ferts in planted tanks

Algae grows due to acessive nutrients (fish waste, fish food, ferts etc) and light due to photosynthesis.
So when your water gets favorable conditions algae grows again.
Avoid light or you can also use chemical to decrease nutrients so that algae can't grow up.
