I'm after a 240l tank and I'm hunting voraciously on eBay to find one. However, are there any other places that are good sources for second hand tanks?

my brother is selling a 240l tank on cabinet stand,ill find the make out,later today and message you,its a beauty, 5 different colour settings, it looks excellent he showed me it on internet brand new at£380 , i think hes after |£ 150 to 200, ill find out later today, lives in north east,talk to you later

no good to me I'm afraid, dont fancy the 10hr round trip!

Gumtree is very good for picking up bargains.

I'm a mod for freecycle, and ive only had three small tanks come through our site in the past year or so.

id say gumtree or preloved first option, then ebay, then maybe freecycle.

yep, that's my experience of freecycle too. very few tanks.

@ zoddyzod. shame, there are a couple of 240's in the Leicester Mercury. but i think one was a Trigon. not sure its worth the trip up here though. anyway, have a look.

chhers but i need to limit the travel time due to two week old daughter. Can't go galavanting after a new tank for a whole day.
