so I like a “natural” looking tank, and I’m kind of a set it, and leave it alone, kind of fish keeper… my water changes are automated to disrupt the tank, and fish, as little as possible, and for the most part, depending, this has worked well for me… however one of my best set ups ( my hillstream tank ) has begun getting a buildup of mulm in the terrestrial plant roots… I know that would be natural, but it’s not a “natural” look I’m after…it would seem even in a natural set up, we need to “stir things up a bit” once in a while… do you like to mess with ( rearrange, and stir things up ), every water change, once in a while, or never???
