i doubt very much that a bolivian ram (or an apisto) will eat or attempt to eat bumblebee gobies

nice apistos. hopefully they colour up similar to the pics the seller had. are u going to try and find an agassizi female?

Definately want to get a female agassizi.

The agassizi is taking serious interest in the female cac though. crossbreeds lol.

And I'll kep an eye on them, but I don't think my bees will become lunch.

bolivian rams cant fit neon tetras (2cm) in their mouths

bolivian rams cant fit neon tetras (2cm) in their mouths

i'm not disagreeing with you, however Bumble bee's swim in a different manner to a neon. They float around and bob around the tank. I have also seen how wide a 'adult' Bolivian ram can open its mouth. It's only an observation, and the OP needs to be aware of the fact his Bumble bee's may become dinner.

..did you notice how that seller had red-finned cockatoos and orange-finned cockatoos for sale? The one in the photo is definitely red and the one you have is definitely orange. You are not having good luck!

Yes, I have kept both colour morphs before and the fish in the seller's photo is not the same colour morph as the fish in your photo.

So I have sent him a message saying are you sure you sent me the super reds?

What should I do about this situation, as I wanted the super reds, I ordered the super reds and paid for the super reds. (which are twice the price of the normal cacs, and I don't really want a refund, I want my super reds)

I have this photo that I took whilst they were still in the bag, count enough as evidence? I'm not sure.

Good, yes they are definitly the super reds, the female is the smaller more yellow one and the maele the longer finned more strikinc colored, give them a few days and they will show more colors.

I said that I had cockatoo keepers informing me I don't have the supr red strain, but I also said i'm willing to wait a few days for thm to colour up.

If they turn out to be the wrong colour strain, what should I do *dislikes confrontations*

Eh, if anything, that photo makes me dubious.. but when I have seen "red" cockatoos, the red really meant vibrant scarlet. If it was me, I would definitely complain, but I can't make that decision for you. On the other hand, I wouldn't buy from a seller who thieves photos either.

They look pretty similar to a pair that I bought from another Seller a while ago off of ebay, the female was quite a lot paler than the male until she`d been in the tank for a few days, even then she was never as 'red' as the male. She`s only small so probably still young, it may be a case of colouring up once she feels settled but also as she matures. I think they`re lovely and wouldn`t personally be too worried about colouring just yet.

One thing I would keep an eye on is the males, 2 males with 1 female between them may well stir up a lot of aggression but also the female could end up harassed, if she does then her colouring could suffer even further. Just keep an eye on them but they are lovely.

Erm, (someone correct me if I am wrong, please) as far as I know, the colour of the fins and tails can not change at all. (I mean, some species, somewhere probably can, but none of the ones we keep in our tanks.)

But yes, the female will be much paler and I would not be able to tell if that one was "red" or not.
