**Question of the week** | When’s the last time you did a water change?

Weekend task for me usually, although my clown loaches massively disturbed the plant substrate I had under the gravel so now I do water changes daily to vacuum this mess out

The last time I did water changes on my tanks was in January 2016.

edited to add that I haven't actually had any tanks since January 2016. However, prior to that I did water changes every week.

Haven't done one in about 6 weeks.

In my freshwater tanks, I do weekly water changes. But up until now, I hadn’t done a water change in my saltwater tank for 4 weeks.

50% every 7 days or so. I also clean my filter every about every month and a half (using tank water of course)

I feel like cleaning our fish tanks is something we kind of hesitate to do because we know it takes some work, but it feels good after you've done it, and your fish will be happier too!

Wee hours of Friday every week is clean up. I won't lie. I've missed a few here and there. But I've always kept healthy tanks and never lost a fish to neglect.

A bichir in 55 gal Seems small to me for a fish growing up to 40 cm !
Doesn't it eat his tankmates ?
