Plants from river questions

Hello me again lol, So as you guys know I’ve found Anacharis in the river which is next to my house and near the clothing factory which exposed chemicals to water everyday.
Is there anyway to make the Anacharis safe for fish tanks?

If there is a chemical facility nearby, I would not risk it.

Not at all worth the risk.

Put the plant in a container of water and leave it to grow outdoors for a few months.
Change the water each week.
Have some plant fertiliser in the water with the plants.
When the plants have grown more than 12 inches, take some cuttings from the top of the plant. Make them about 8 inches long. Rinse the cuttings and put them in your tank.
