Just wondering how many of you picked up COD Black Ops today?

A friend brought 4 copies of it! Also got one of the special edition ones. Im going to get mine tommorow of him, coundt be bothered with queing at the shops

My mate picked up a special edition today, will be playing it with him tomorrow.

I'm too poor to own my own PS3, so I usually spend a lot of time making a class on his MW2, so will be abusing BO aswell.

Got it this morning. Only had a 90 min burn on it and up to level 12. Im not overly impressed, maybe time will tell. I think it might just be that fact that its different but it is growing on me. I still think cod4 rocks!

I agree with James COD 4 was the best MW2 was a let down for me so I;m home BO is bettyer than that

i partly agree with the above, for me cod4 is the pinnacle of the series. i got black ops today, and to be honest i'll probaby take it back within a couple of days. im pretty unimpressed. i have owned every cod since cod 4, and other than cod 4 they all got sold/traded within a week.

i get my shoot 'em up fix playing battlefield bad company 2. the thinking mans shooter

just to add it has incorporated alot of things from metal gear solid 4 like the money side of things and the personalization of the characters however this is a good thing as mgs4 is the best game for online gaming better than bo imo but i would disagree with cod 4 being the best as i was never that keen really

My boyfriends arrived here at 2pm yesterday.

Edit: Sadly it was one of the rare times that no one was in the house. And our housemate clearly picked the missed package card up and neglected to mention it. Hehe... he was gutted!

Played it before it came out due to an non discussable scenario that arose.

Wasn't too impressed with it then, played with my friend online and wasn't too impressed either. It's pretty much a modded version of MW2, the sad thing about these Call of Dutys are the perk system. I absolutely hate perks with vengeance it ruins game balance something rotten.

I do however love playing on the Pure servers, I enjoy playing on a level playing field and even though it was my first time playing online with my friend I did come top twice out of 4 games, however after an hour I got bored and went back under my cave.
