He will be going into a 5x2x2 in February/March. I would say a 4x2x2 may work, but obviously the bigger the better.

They're a very pretty tank though, a real show tank imo.

Update is...
Rainbows have gone.
Veija has gone.
L001 Plec is in due to getting battered by my Ellioti![]()
1.5" Oscar is in![]()
Next step will be to out the baby BN's and the 3 Bronze Cory's.
You see now the problem is that i have come across a ~8" Flowerhorn at one of my LFS for a very decent price.![]()
This would have been perfect if i hadn't of bought the Oscar. It could have stayed on its own like Angelfish guy's beauty.

Should be ok for the time being as Otis is only a tiddler atm. Update again... I really am spoiling you![]()
- I'm learning this part of it!!Decided to go with black substrate, either sand or fine gravel. Will also be looking out for some Sumatran wood, found some really decent priced stuff from one of my LFS which i don't actually mind paying (shock horror!!)
Tempted to try and add some tough Anubias to some wood and see if it stays there?!Should be ok for the time being as Otis is only a tiddler atm.
Hoping to try and get some worn river cobbles or maybe some slate, haven't decided yet.
Got to stick with the Jade Eyeds in there for a while as the HRP's have decided to spawn again in their new home.![]()

Will soon be adding another TetraTEC ex1200 filter to help with the bio-load and flow. Considering adding 2 150W heaters as the 300W is huge and i am frightened of it going belly up and cooking/freezing the fish?!
Any thoughts?
would rather the wood be left to stand out from the rest. Just ordered some led lights from fleabay in an attempt to get some crisp white light in there. Want a big stump/root for one of the corners too so I can tie the anubias to it. May also go for a proper background rather than wallpaper.

) wood/roots for the nano.
