Sounds perfect Caz. Wish i'd have gone for dark substrate now... Oh well, can always change it later.

Thinking of adding some real plants as a trial once the Rainbows have gone. Need some better rocks and some more branch type structures.

Black alllll the way :good:!

You want good branchy pieces you might just have to swallow the hideous price of redmoor/sumatra/manzanita (AE's selection of redmoor's a bit poor at the mo)

or get yoursen back up to the woods lol

and yes, black rules :) although I've given up the idea of black for my biotope

Just redone my Nano... look out for a new thread coming soon! When i get my stocking sorted i will change the substrate to the Unipac Limpopo unless someone else can suggest something different?

depends on if you want grey or black?

limpopo is grey (despite claiming to be black)

tahitian moon sand is black :good:

Ive got Limpopo, it's an excellent substrate. What is the moon sand and how much is it?

Still unsure. I think i need some big bog wood as the main piece of decor, some big boulders or stones and then see what it looks like. May go with Unipac sand but the golden type, can;t think of the name atm, but it does look the bees knees!

I don't think plants of the real kind will be entering this tank. Will keep an eye out for some realistic looking fake ones though if there is such a thing!!

Anyway, a bit of an update. I have been speaking with ChilliPepper and she mentioned that my Syspila could well be a Bifasciatus Vieja. So i have done some research and read a few profiles and it would appear that it is. From readin it would appear that these are mostly more aggressive than the Synspila... So i may need to reconsider her in my tank. A bit gutted really as i really like her. Also added another addition which everyone will go beserk about, but i couldn't help it! The 5x2x2 will definately need to be on order now!
