Maidenhead Aquatics @ Bourne End... I have a 15" - 18" Silver Arrowana eating prawns, cockle, mussel, carnivor pellets, pond pellets if he is bored and still scavanging.. lol £60. He is a one off deal though, i sold him the week before christmas at about 8", within 3 weeks he was back and was 12", they guy had been feeding him live feeder guppies and he had grown far too quickly, i refused to give the guy money for him as i wasnt impressed with the live feeder fish and the hard work i've put in to get him off feeder shrimps. Hence the good price. He is colouring up nicely, very beautiful pink fins when he is happy.
Only problem is that while he is timid enough, he cannot be trusted with anything that fits in his mouth, i caught him snacking on malawis that has somehow managed to fit through the grid from the next tank.
EDIT: meant to say, we usually have good sized polyboxes for fish like him to go home in, thats how he arrived back at the shop from his owner and he travelled ok.
