ow sorry i dont know anythink about the i just saw arowana on ebay and remember some one on hear saying they wanted one

thankyou anyway kinzo1 mate i dont fancy traveling far with an arowana as they are very unforgiving with thier water perameters and ive not got the proper kit to transport them unfortunatly thanks alot though

damnnnn, i cant believe an arowana cant survive at least a few hours without a filter, and since its 2 feet long, that must've took lots of time and work to make an arowana grow to that size, this kinda tells me that ur gravel/ornaments, etc have not too much nitryfying bacteria, because in my tanks if my filters stop working, my fishes can survive days without it, they may get sick, especially my ghost knife fish and my needlefish, but really that was one weird way to die, couldn't u just change like 10% of the water every 90 minutes or so?

WOW....2 FEET LONG?!?!?! Thats amazing....so sad he passed away.
I have two oscars they are both 8 inches and I don't know what I will do when they pass.....when I first got them I thought they were just pretty looking fish but they grew on me....they are my buddies now.

I bet a 2foot arowana would produce more waste in an hour than your whole tank does on average,
and AFAIK, This tank also contained a large giant Gourami and other fish,

do u live in new forest

last time i looked they had a great silver arrowana in cadnem

Im really for your loss Jay,
It is an incredibly shame you lost such a magnificent specimin.
All you must remember is ll the good times you spent with the fish.
In the end, thats all what matters :)

thankyou xenon junkie it was a rescue fish so i didn't know the internal condition of it it was in a murky 4x2x2 when i recsued it but it seemed happy enough and it only fed from hand it was lazy lol
