thankyou xenon junkie it was a rescue fish so i didn't know the internal condition of it it was in a murky 4x2x2 when i recsued it but it seemed happy enough and it only fed from hand it was lazy lol

Sounds like a nice fish ,
you definately made its life alot better!
Just need to try and get a new one, spread the love again ^^

i am looking about for one but its a money thing at the moment lack of that is lol plus im getting a snakehead soon so it might haveto wait ive got to do abit more research into compatability for them

They get bigger than micropeltes if i remember correctly?
if so thats gona be an absolute joy to own!

yeah they get around 4ft don't they im not sure if thats wild or captive size

ive read you have a turtle on the "free money" post we have 8 in total

i knw they can max 70 inch in wild, though most stay around 4ft

His specie is quite hard to get hold of in the uk,

1 female mississippi map ' 4.5" 3 male false maps 5/6" 1 2" chinese softshell 2 9"/10" cumberlands/cooters and a 5" cumberland they are all males and live in my pond these three do, we rescue them and fish too
