70 inches is noted as largest caught though not proven.....48 inches is the largest known in captivity , in the home aquarium finding one over 36 inches would be exceptional..average growth is around 7cm per month ,

that is a lovely turtle you have my gf is after one lol we do know where we can get one but they are a bit pricey she will have one one day its a little smiler lol

yeah, the internets usually a haven of cheaper ones.
One store was gona charge me £300 to special order one.
WHich i declined as i got mine for £20, as a customer brought it in

I love him though, full of character with his huge smile!
As a side-neck turtle too, hes really interesting

exotic pets .co.uk im am friends with them as i do caresheets now and then for them and they live literally around the corner from me lol

above this is the smaller on in the pond not had chance to get the other 2 yet we only rescued them the other day

and this one died a few week ago it was a female cumberland 13" shell

yep cinders,sammy,scampy,squirt,bill,ben,zeus,and nelly funnily enough no resemblance lol

theyre cute names, ilove asking customers how they're turtles are doing!
I've seen one already which is Huge!! only 1-2 years old

we have all the nessassary 10.0 uvb's basking lights and area's and a very large selection of foods they live like royalty lol

i have located another silver arowana at wharfe aquatics its 10" long but also £90 too much for me
