LOL! Everyone with the channel ESPN has the distinct privilege of watching Cleveland take on Texas this evening. I'll still stream through MLB/tv so I can hit pause and back up to view specific plays again.

Even though Cleveland lost last night, you can’t help but to be happy that TEX is over 500! It’s been a while.

I was on vacation in Michigan. ALMOST went to a Detroit Tigers game. But where I was staying it was a 2.5 hour drive and the game started at 7 pm so I didn’t. But would have been cool.

Braves have fallen into very rough times. I will not make one excuse for them, though. Baseball is baseball. It punishes. They are just not getting it done at all with RISP. Injuries hurt, but your guys in the lineup need to produce, Acuna Jr absent or not. Phillies are about to pass us. That stinks big time.

Got the 5-1 win! Riley with a RBI single which is HUGE for him, he had been in a year long slump. I am happy for him to contribute. Maybe we get back on track, even if not, go to see a Braves W. Go Braves!

Big 4-game series for Cleveland this weekend against the White Sox. As of 7/1/2026 the Sox are one game in front of Cleveland.

A year ago, at this point, Cleveland was in the middle of a 10 game losing streak. I prefer how this season is going.

I MAY have posted this but don't think I did. I've grumbled a bit about Cleveland injuries but it has seemed to have passed up the pitching staff. They are the only team in MLB that still has the same 5-man starting pitcher rotation as they did on opening day with none missing a start. There has been minor injury issues in the Bull Pen but, mostly, their pitching staff has been clean.

And Cleveland is now tied for first in the AL Central thanks to a 2-run walk off homer by Brayan Rocchio with one out in the ninth.

Rocchio is an oddity as a hitter. He actually seems more comfortable in pressure situations. Tonight he hits a walk off winning homer. Last year he did the same with a walk off homer to give Cleveland the division title in the last game of the regular season. He is just Mister Clutch!

And another Cleveland rookie, Watson, comes through with another walk off RBI to give Cleveland a 1 run win in 10 innings. Two games left in the series but Cleveland just needs to split the last two games to have sole claim of first place.

People put down Cleveland as a young team. Yet they over and over bring even younger players that do better than the person they are replacing. Best farm system in the MLB !

Braves hit a slump. Still 3 games over the hottest team in MLB (maybe not in the last few days, but in the last few weeks). Also beat the Mets 14-3 last night. We were down 10-3 going into the ninth, and the final score was 10-9... whoa. Don't see that every day. Almost made the full comeback. 5 Braves going to the All-Star Game.


One guy who is the most underrated imo, Dylan Lee. Doubt anyone knows who he is. But he is probably top 5 in relief pitchers. ERA, under 1? Wow. He just does the job. I would look him up, good stats.

LOL!... WELL it IS better than the Sox winning 3 of the games.

A bit odd as to how Cleveland and the Sox play. So far they have played 7 games and 6 have been decided by 1 run. The other was by 2 runs. Sox hitting and Cleveland's pitching just seem well matched.

Red Sox are no longer in last place. They won 9 of their last 11 games. There's a spark of life in Red Sox land. Will the winning ways continue? Time will tell.

Braves got a series win, finally after having dropped 3 of the last 4. It is good to see the bottom of the order pick things up, and Drake Baldwin get back in a groove. Jim Jarvis with his first major league homer today.

54-38 after a slump like that, that is a record I will take gladly. Still 3 games of Philly; could be 4 with a Philly loss tonight (c'mon, Cincinnati!)

Well Cleveland is going in to the All Star break on a plus. Always nice to sweep the last series of the 1st half especially on the road AND still tied for first even with two major player still on the IL.
