Like I said, I'm no expert, it's fins just look too 'nice' to be female. Looks like she/he has Crowntail genes too!

oh well you aint seen nothing yet then you should see some of my females most females now a days are very bright coloured with great fins, most are also coming with longer fins, ive got 2 in the shop that are very male like but are 100% females

Thanks again mate Im going to be keeping them in the containers until monday morning then going back to the fish shop.. do i just say i found out these are males??

when i swap them. any ways to make sure i deff get females this time? lol

i would be surprised if they do exchange them TBH, if it was a customer of mine i would but then thats just me knowing the importance of having the right sexed betta, some places dont give a flying toss, good luck.

i sell young ones, anything from 3 months up, some bred by myself and some bred by our breeder in singapore, these are usually larger than our shop bred ones as in general the growth rate of all fish from them is much quicker than here in the uk due to the climate and the advantages of this.

Legally they should as they have mis-sold you them by stating they are female. Make sure you explain that they are male Plakats as sadly alot of fish shops have not got a clue and remember to take them back in seperate bags lol! They should either refund you or swap them for females.

yep, well im going there first to actually get some bags cause i have only one and as there males there not both going in there!!

Right ive got a bloody long story so you've been warned!! lol

We took the fish back to the shop in seperate bag's and told them they have been fighting and we got someone to look at them and they said they are PK male's.. the bloke at the shop said nope there females we aint taking them back *so i just left with my fish*

Me knowing there males from you lot telling me i just went down to my local fish shop and told them the story that the other shop wont take them back.. and they said they will give them a good home *good knowing i had no where to put them*

So the shop who now have my fish i brought myself 2 new females which are so nice and look exatly like my others

We went back2 hours later to find the 2 males i gave them in with all the females

What the hell!! do they not listen? probably cause it didnt have big fins they automaticly think its a female!!
