Hey everyone.

So I have had my Krib Pair just over a week now, They have been waiting Freeze Dried bloodworm and Flakes.
Anyway I noticed the Male keeps chasing the female around and today the females colour has become very intense.
She has a much darker area on her stomach and her yellow is showing alot more.

I assumed they were too young to breed but what are they doing?
The males colour is less intense but he still chases her.

Anything I should look out for?

Been watching them for last few mins and this is what happen

Male chases female
female swims away
female comes back
more chasing
female hides in cave
female comes out
more chasing.

Her stomach has got some really nice red/purple colour now it's very intense.

Anything I should look out for?

Not really.
Sign a female is up for breeding is her belly area going bright purple. They will spawn in a cave or may even lay on wood/stone, will defend their offspring and chase any tankmates away, kribs are very dominant and protective parents.

There the only two in the tank, It's a 20G with no tankmates.
I figured they would wanna be alone.

She used to have a pale pinky belly but now it's gone a darker purpley pink

Its a clear tube that lowers itself out of the Anus of the fish. The eggs and sperm come out of the tubes.
