Clown loachs!!! My fav fish cause they can go with just about anything plus they have great personalities,colors, and easy to get.

I like clowns, because of hteir behaviour, lay on side when resting, click when excited, colourful, shame they get so large although my tank is big enough, and they eat snails!

I would have to say plecs for our similar attitudes and mannerisms.... both hate light and like to sit around and just chill.

But for pure beauty, would def have to say any species of pygmy angel and/or the more decorative members of the wrasse family.

Don't forget the guppies, they're easy to keep, breed like mad and come in every colour of the rainbow, other than them I love my bettas and corydoras have great personalities.

i saw some really tiny puffers today in the fish shop... are these dwarf ones or just babies do you think?

I kind of like guppies, but my goby and bichir like them more!
I'd have to say that the Polypterus species is my favorite, bichirs are just too cool.

Bugger! This my seventeenth reply (16 changes of mind, so far...)
If we are talking 'tropical' – then Angel fish. Grace, beauty, and the way they drift around a community tank like minor Royalty fallen on hard times.
If we talking about 'everything' – then the humble goldfish. What other fish can offer such a variety of shape and colour; be so beautiful, undemanding, easy to care for, pet-friendly, and do it's best to out live you..?
