what are your least interactive fish???

so, I do enjoy watching my tanks, with currently 13 tanks, each with many different varieties, it easy to see varrying levels, of interaction with the big ugly guy that feeds them… my 3 most secretive fish species ( that may be because they were wild caught, or just their personality ), are my bitterlings (Rhodeus ocellatus ), sailfin tetras (Crenchuchos spilurus ), and tiger limia ( Limia Islai )

what are your shyest fish???

I like all 3 of these, but to say they are camera shy doesn’t fully describe them… even feeding them once or twice a week, they come out of hiding when the food hits the tanks surface, and while most fish figure out I’m the one who feeds them, and will come begging, when they see me, these 3 varieties you barely know they are in the tank, until that food hits the surface…

My Sawbwa. The second you walk into the room, they dart to cover. I think it may be down to the fact that they once were a group of 13, now 5..

My Daisy's on the other hand, spend most of their time at the front waiting for food.

I agree about the Sawbwa resplendens. Mine are almost always hiding. I have another dozen on the way next week so I'm hoping they'll develop some confidence.

Spotted Raphael as has been mentioned, but I don't think it's shyness, it's nocturnal so it will not come out in the day (or mine haven't) except maybe once a month for a few minutes- good luck being there when it happens.

New ones. They aren't very trusting.

I try to keep my fish from begging at the glass by varying feeding timings and feeding spots. I like interactive fish when they interact with each other where I can stand back and see them, but interacting with me? Nope.
