I won a live betta fish in a raffle. I don't currently have a ready-to-go aquarium available. I don't want to pass the fish on to the alternate winners because keeping bettas in proper aquariums isn't common in my country; they are usually viewed as fish for small bowls. There isn't time for a classic fishless cycle, so I plan to set up my 4-gallon tank (I hope this space doesn't feel too cramped for him/her.) using the "silent cycle" method. The API Master Test Kit isn't available in my country. I’m going to use the Tetra 7-in-1 test and the Seachem Ammonia Alert. What should I watch out for?I am open to any suggestions.
