again like what has been said before, it depends on your stock, waste production etc... for everyone it will be different, if you have a single betta in a 100 gallon tank you really wont need to worry about it to often.. (over exaduration) ,,,,, think of it this way (as someone once told me on here) think of it as a room you live in where there is constant air pollution being pumped in... the more there is the more damaging it will be, so removing as much as you can is always helpful. i personally change out 35 gallons of a 55 gallon tank weekly thou im not sure on that percentage.... 63% but i am just getting over ich treatment so when things settle down i will probably do less.
