black beard algae

I have a 40 gal tank that keeps getting black beard algae. I do 60% water changes every week. CO2 injection But, the only thought is my light. I have seen Chihiros higher output lights in aquariums with CO2. I asked if the tank has problem with BBA. The answer was no. 50% water changes with fertilizer once a week. Some green algae. Could that light keep BBA out of my tank?

I have bba in in almost all of my tanks with tiny amounts in some but basically everything is covered in my pond
The only difference between them is light intensity
Pond is in the shade of a tree
Some tanks have co2 and ferts and some don't even have a light or a filter (outside tanks with little to no bioload) not much of a difference with bba tho
So in my experience light is the controlling factor

Do you have special plants that actually NEED CO2? If not, lose the CO2 as most simple plants don't need.
