Wow ! You don't know General Trelane ? The lonely Squire of Gothos? His adventures are chronicled on the classic Star Trek episode "The Squire of Gothos". Colin, do they have TV in Australia ?

I do have a question though, why is Colin always the blunt end of our jokes? Does that bother you Colin?
I'm just biding my time. One day you people are going to need help with your fish and I'm going to give you bad information and your fish are going to die.

We have television here but I can't watch it because the place I am staying in has a crappy little antenna and I am 80kms from the TV transmitting tower. On fine days with no wind and nobody using electrical appliances anywhere in that 80km zone, I might get to watch TV but if its windy or someone is using a computer, I got nothing.

Digital TV is a load of crap. I never had this problem with analog TV

well he started saying he had goblins in his basement and that he is a convicted convict so we thought he was just a bit "off".

It's also well know that Martians are thick skinned!

Yeh Colin is "down under" where heat affects peoples' brains

Please don’t give me wrong information!!

He's the only one man enough to take it and let's all be grateful he's in Australia where he can't get to us.
A lot of us do live in the USA! ;)

It's not the heat that affects the brain. It's the beer people drink to help them cope with the heat, and the beer affects the brian. :drinks::drink::zz

I have just 2 at the moment. A 5g with my Betta and shrimp in and a 29g that is still cycling but should be ready for fish quite soon hopefully, still got some bits and pieces to add yet. I would really quite like a tiered stand that I could have multiple 5g tanks on and end up with a wall of Bettas. The dream would be a massive tank that I could have lots of fun with, Chester Zoo has my dream tank under their sloths. Oh and I would also like a large tank for something like an arowana or snakeheads but I'd need a much bigger house first.

MODERATORS ! A line has been crossed. The unspeakable has been spoken. The greatest and most delectable beverage ever concocted by man has been besmirched. Cue up the Tom T. Hall song "I like Beer" and do something about this.

I'm not the best person to deal with this. Beer - horrible stuff  Pass me the bottle of red wine please.....

Lately, been seeing alot of very unhappy Australians and New Zealanders railing against the government on fish forums.
The New Zealander was saying just yesterday how happy he will be once he gets back to Australia where he is a citizen and there is "good sensible politics and politicians".
He says that new Zealand has run "amok" with socialism and "ruined his life".
Didnt realize new Zealand was a socialist country-- but, you know, what do I know...

Bro, your signature says, “Hold my beer, and watch this!” ;)

I do agree with @essjay. Beer is awful stuff, never touch it. My parents drink red wine all the time. I’m glad they didn’t raise me to drink beer!

Beer contains wheat, barley, hops and water along with naturally occurring yeast. That's like drinking a loaf of bread. What could be better ? Bread is the staff of life so beer must also be. However, I will take this opportunity to admonish all youngsters to be moderate in drink. You can become anything you want to in life but do not become a drinker.

The best lesson in life is “everything in moderation”. Too much alcohol is bad for you . It can ruin your liver and take years off your life. Too much sweets will cause you to get fat and possibly become a diabetic. Too much smoking can cause lung cancer. Too much running can ruin your knees. Too much fatty food can lead to clogged arteries and lead to a heart attack.

Do everything in moderation for a healthy life.
