Fish identification help

I caught these really pretty fish in my local freshwater canals, being in Florida, I canā€™t tell if they are a sort of cichlid fry or something more common in Florida. Iā€™m currently keeping 3 in one of my aquariums. If I could get some help identifying them that would be amazing!

I think they might be a type of killifish, the name escapes me for now but it will come to me.

edit. I thought it might be one of the pearl killifish, but they aren't native to USA. It does have a cichlid look about it, It also looks a bit like a blue badis.

I went through all native Florida fish species and it doesnā€™t match up to any. Iā€™m truly lost.

Nice fish, but is it legal to take it in?
