Not sure if a cloud minnow is tropical since they like cold water, but I’m hoping someone can help.
So these fish have looked like this for a while now, well one specifically, but now three more sort of look like it. But it’s almost like they are square shape and don’t have a healthy round body. The stomach is flat and like the gills sticking out. Food aversion or they do eat a bit but belly looks the same and sometimes spit. Is this internal parasites? If so it means I probably can’t cure because I live in Australia and fish parasite meds is nearly impossible to buy. Does anyone know what this is if not? Or know of meds in Australia. I got an expired api test kit so not sure if accurate, but says ammonia is zero.
I have 8 minnows in 60 litre tank, also have two filters running (originally from my other 60litre tank when they were joined) And I have heaps of pothos and some plants inside. So I don’t understand how it could be a water problem. Thanks for the help
