everything back to normal in e-bay weeks ago.

Post is NOT back to normal -still haven't received Ebay item ordered >6weeks ago and another from a reputable kitchen shop ordered 3 weeks ago. I'm in London
However, you should negotiate with the seller for a free replacement or at least one at big discount as I did before opening dispute. If he refuses then open dispute immediately -you can always close dispute if item arrives.

Vin Swords makes an importatnt point, you do only have so long to file a dispute, have a look at the ebay rules and regs if you haven`t already otherwise you may find yourself completely out of pocket with no item at all to speak of

I think you`re being way to soft myself, but then again I`m known for being pretty blunt and not taking any nonsense

Just a few points I'd like to make, I've recently had stuff off ebay sent from Hong Kong which have arrived within 10 days even with the christmas pressure, I work for Royal Mail and yes there is a bit of a backlog but all delivery offices are doing there best to clear it,unless the seller has sent via special delivery or Royal Mail Tracked ( which is only for buisiness customers not private individuals) then it is impossible to track the item they are the only two methods of tracing where in the delivery network the item is and anyway special delivery is nexy day guaranteed, recordered delivery only tells you that it has been delivered.
Try going to your local delivery office and have a word with the lads in the callers office they might be able to have a look through any packets they have there, if any.

I would tend t disagree with you I've hads no problems, over the past two weeks.

UPS FTW! You get a tracking number and you can watch the item as it's going along it's course. Sorry to hear about your problems.
