Personally i think its pretty good for a 12yr old! i know i wouldnt of been able to set up a tank at 12!

Its very good for someone who is only 12, well done.

Black backgrounds look very good and seem to be very popular with the members on here. Makes the colour of your fish stand out

never seen a black background before - sounds really effective though! and my colour skeam in my front room is black and cream so might give this a go! lol any pictures anywhere or someones tank with sand and black background?

I think the problem with the background is that it doesnt blend with the forground

If you removed some of the bright red plants from your tank, and stuck to mainly green plants like whats shown in the background the tank will work really well

I am also a big believer that tanks look very good when all of the taller plants and ornaments are around the back and sides, giving the illusion of a longer wider tank.

I do think your tank is good though! alot of thought has gone into it im sure.

Maybe if you played around with the internal layout of the items im sure you will be able to make something really smart
