And So It Begins...

If in doubt, three stooges, althought my black widows may not be as glamourous they're also mo larry and curley :D

i couldn`t resist when i saw the way they act.

I can`t stop stareing at the tank now, last thursday i was stressing thinking the fish would croak as soon as i popped them in the tank, but apart from some manic depressive crabs its all been fine.

the one fish that was poorly before i bought him is now making progress and becoming much healthier.

i`m thinking of getting some java moss and covering that bog wood in the picture to try and make nice carpet.

and as the crabs were obviously a bad idea i was thinking of maqybe some shrimp,

any one know which ones to go for?

i was thinking of the cherry shrimp, what do they eat?

I`m hoping to get something to scavange extra food and dead leaves ect.....

How on earth did the crab committed suicide via the light fixture???

i think he tried sunbathing, i found him clamped to the light bulb, guess he should have used sun screen

I don`t think shrimp are the way to go then as the veil tail angels don`t seem to like the current much, so filter feeding shrimp will be out of the question

First fishy fatality....

DARR one of the veil tail angels, he`d never been right always kept away from most of the other fish and didn`t eat much finaly gave up today i found him floating round the tank his gills were moving but he wasn`t swimming,

Then one of his fins got sucked into the filter inlet and he did nothing except stay there pinned to the inlet so i put him out of his mysery. poor guy

I'll take my camera up to his in the next week or so and get some pics, the tanks looking awesome now though, the plantings come on a treat :good: can't wait for him to move the tank into my house :D

aquarium silicone.... it was dead simple....

When i next get some spare cash and see some decent slate i`m going to make a more natural looking one...

awesome tank.

and i didnt realise you were THE ian miss wiggles goes on about! :hyper:

as for the cave, jus lean some rocks or slate against it and around it so it doesnt look as square and youll be sorted. no need for more silicone.
