species:
- hygrophila polysperma 'tiger'
- staurogyne repens
- dwarf sagittaria
- java fern
- anubias nana
- pogostemon

i have since removed the moss

thanks!

Looks great already, like @DragonScales+Doubletails said, I would go for some more plants. When in doubt, some good robust plants make things better in my opinion. A background for the tank could also make the internal decor pop.
Not an awful lot of space for more hardscaping, but you could fill it in with some smaller stones around the wood.

Let us know what you decide to go with.

why did you remove the moss? did it rot? it looks like a beautiful setup to me! it could use a tall plant like an amazon sword or mature java fern.
I removed it because it was growing almost as fast as the algae! and hair algae was taking advantage of it, keeping my algae eaters from getting it. The picture I posted was after an hour of trimming moss and picking it out of the gravel. Do you know if the hydrophila will fill out the back?
