zeocarb what does it do???????????

replaced peat with zeocarb does anybody know what it does ?
i was told it takes out of the amonia is this correct since placeing the bags into my canister the water has become cloudy the water parameters are all fine could it be a bacterial bloom (nitrie has not spiked) any suggestions very gratefull

did you rinse it first with tank water before putting it in?
it does remove ammonia plus it has carbon (2 in 1)
i always use it and it works great for me
as long as you don't rely on it entirely to save your tank and stop doing water changes
the cloudiness should go away within a day
if it doesn't then let us know

no not entirrly i have a fluval404 with pre filter carbon zeo carb and then bio max i did clean thoughly with tank water (i also have a jewel box fillter with 4 collnized sponge filters carbon activated and ploy wool) i have had the zeo carb in for about a week now so i thought the cloudyness would have dissapated by now my self so is this zeo cab good then also i normally do 25% waterchange every week with ro
