Would You Trust This?

yeah i didn't meen at all to rub it in, just to tell you that the guy has sent out fish before and they was good.
i really do hope the next lot arrive in good working order!!
i haven't got a decent camera to take any pictures but i think there is some pictures of them in my thread in the members aquarium pictures area.

good luck! Dave

Yeh fair shout, just had a look at daves pics, im just hoping these guys turn up unscathed because i don't think i will get my money back :(

I read this thread a few days ago, but was in a rush so just replying now. It made me feel sick to read/see what happened to those poor fish, what an irresponsible way to send fish.

I hope your next batch are 100% healthy, and that this was just an unfortunate accident. It is hard to swallow that someone who must have reared these babies from little dots, would have purposefully have sent out ill ones or been careless with packaging them. Though I suppose not everyone is a fish lover like the majority of us on this forum.

Dave has had a good experience with him, so hopefully you will get some lovely Rotkeils soon.

I've only bought one fish - my Betta - via mailorder and that was off ebay from someone who comes on here, and has a good reputation. He arrived very well packaged, with a heat pack. He is a lovely fish, so there are good sellers out there.

well these are the rotkeils i got off him, took this picture this morning, its the best i could do as the tanks glass is a bit dirty, its out of the way upstairs so never clean the front of it!

most of them are about 3" now and looking good.
i really hope your next lot arrive well!

Dave

He rang me this morning and said he is sending them out in a proper courier from his own pocket, so hopefully all will be good :)

Glad to hear its a propper courier this time, I really hope they all arrive in good shape.

Yeah hope these work out for you :) Will they be here in the morning?

Hi, was just reading through this post, funny Trimar getting mentioned, I had to cancel my order after it getting postponed twice because of the weather, which I think is fair enough, I did find them polite on the couple odf occassions I spoke on the phone but I think you may have spoke to the member of staff I did speak to who I found impatient and "a bit gobby", slightly rude maybe having a bad day, extra charge for my postcode even though I'm central scotland and 15 mins from the main motorway? Just wondered if anyone else had used them and how they found it?
On the matter of exchanging money for goods I would be very wary, I'm looking for shels just now and received a message from someone in America offering to send me them, would be awsome if this was genuine, what a relly nice guy etc etc but wheres the comeback if I send the money (bank transfer) and no goods arrive??

The guy sounds like he is giving you the runaround I am afraid.
