If it was me in your situation I would be on the hunt for this guys front door. Shame he's so careful though in making that difficult for you.

Thats why I woudl get everything off aquabid. People rate the seller, and you have a contract with aquabid. So its harder to get ripped off.

yeah we are lucky that we have aquaBid but they don't have that in the UK.

well shockingly they turned up this afternoon, 12 Rotkeil fry!!!!!!

took 3 months and a few threats, and a complaint to AC, but i got them!!

A little undersized, but they seem to be getting on OK and are swimming with my Notatus.

My Blue Acara doesn't seem interested in them, despite being nearly big enough to eat them (they are all about 1.5cm), my Ram just wants to beat them up!

1 died ten minutes after putting it in teh tank and the rest are a bit scrawny, so will be power feeding and doing big water changes.

Its quite scary right now because i have only just got over that huge white spot/tank poisoning epidemic that killed my 8" male red spot,2 x 7" Male Tapajos and everything else except for whats in my sig (-the rotkeils)

so fingers crossed i will get a pair or 2.

1.5cm!!!! they are not that old then, mine are just about 1cm and were hatched 4th March, the bloke sounds a right idiot for sending them that young!

Ah well at least i got them, they all eating ok, but very weak still, the ram and the the notatus dont like them much but not doing any damage.

They are definitely true Rotkeils tho, which is great (not those Appendiculatus that everyone is getting as Rotkeils)

i bet when he first sent the first ones they were his last batch or he still let you order them even though he knew they where un fit and knew would easily die. and now its taken him this long to find some more as he hasn't got any so that could be why there so young just a though
