what's the fish you dislike most

plain little goldfish are cute.

goldfish that have had mutant things done to them are gross and disgusting.

I can't even look at them when I'm in a fish store. I know that some people think that they're wonderful (well, somebody must be buying them!) but with their popped out eyes and blistery, bubble-y heads that look like they're covered in tumours - nope, disgusting.

Bettas rock! And ALL livebearers aren't bad. I used to dislike them, but now I have a few guppies, endlers, lyretail guppies, mollies, and platies.

I dont like any fish which needs live food to live.
and I love plecos, swordtails and miniature gouramis.

How can you say bettas have no personality? They do if you keep them in the right conditions and keep them healthy with good water.

I hate all fish. But I really dislike any livebearers, soem catfish(plecos in particular) Though their is some plecos I like. I dont like corys, but Im a loach fan anyways. Goldfish dont bother me, but I would never get any.

I always have to pre order plaice at my lfs, they don't cook it unless you do

Seriously though, I tend to agree about gold fish, some now look ill! I would never consider keeping anything like that. I enjoy keeping oddballs and unusual fish, puffers for instance. Non fish faves are snails (FW) and crabs, corals, other inverts (marine).

not true at all!!..they have a personality..more than a fugly old pelco ....they are hardy most of mine live past 2 years,they are called siamese FIGHTING fish for a reason....you are dumb as a stick becuase pelcos are so UGLY!!!!

people shouldn't be bashing fish they haven't had most fish are supriesingly intresting that's why they sell and people have them, That said from what i've kept I like bettas the least and adf's if that counts, Goldfish(comets) are actually really cool fish and very intresting I like them for a pond they make too much mess in aquariums,

But, go with the flow an say I "hate" plecos or bettas ugly boreing lazy dirty fish that i have not kept nor will

whoa fly off the handle why dont you! Everyone is entitled to an opinion and a a thread like this is bound to offend people who believe their chosen fish is the best in the world. But I see no reason for a personal attack and call me dumb because I like "fugly" plecos.

and I know they're called fighting fish for a reason. I just prefer not to keep them for the reasons cited by me above and they arent community fish so Idont keep them. if you still have a problem please PM me.

a thread like this is bound to offend people

I've thought this from the moment this thread started. I have followed very little that goes on in it and usually only click on it to make it not stand out as the only one with the lil arrow by it.

I wish the Mods would have locked it a week ago. There is enough negativity in the world without people prompting us to spell out what we hate. "What's the fish you like the most' is a much healthier title for a topic such as this one.

(No offense to the original poster of the thread. I'm sure it was motivated by some experience that created a curiosity... not a secret agenda to get us to destroy the planet...)
